The mission of the non-profit Hearing Loss Association of America North Bay Chapter is to improve the world of communication for people with hearing loss through information, education, support, and advocacy. Our booth has free materials: informational brochures about signs, symptoms, and steps to treating hearing loss, communication tips, assistive listening technology, and our most recent quarterly magazine. Volunteers wearing hearing aids and/or cochlear implants are eager to answer attendee questions and share experiences of living with hearing loss including technology, travel, and emotional well-being. Attendees can also pick up free buttons that say "Face Me and Speak Clearly" and bookmarks with our contact information. Attendees can sign up for our mailing list and/or request a free in-person or virtual presentation for their affinity group. We want attendees to know that we have a free support group the first Friday of every month from 11-12 at Vivalon ( San Rafael) followed by a no-host lunch in their cafe. We also have Zoom 2nd Thursday meetings from 4--5 and 4th Thursday support group, also from 4--5. Our website is hearinglossnorthbay.org
