Love Is The Answer (LITA) is a Marin County only non-profit dedicated to relieving loneliness in isolated older adults. Established in 1975, our clients live in Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, Nursing Homes, and private homes. Our volunteers bring themselves, perhaps a pet, perhaps a musical instrument, perhaps their family. All of our services are free. We also have our Bridging Generations program, where classrooms visit the same Assisted Living community once a month throughout the school year, creating strong bonds across the generations.
Come join us...we are always looking for volunteers of all ages who would like to be a ray of sunshine for one of Marin's isolated older adults
